The award-winning educational game set designed for children aged 3-5. Osmo combines tangible, handheld game pieces with an iPad, providing a stress-free learning environment with instant feedback and encouragement. The set includes an Osmo Base, which is required for game play, and six game apps, including Shape Builder, Counting Town, ABCs, Costume Party, Stories, and Squiggle Magic.

Children can use sticks and rings to play four creative games, including Shape Builder, which explores shapes and colors to create furniture and incredible things for a magic mansion; Counting Town, which allows children to build numbers and create a town of buildings and friendly animals while practicing counting skills; ABCs, which helps children learn letter formation and phonics with over 300 words and creating images in five playgrounds; and Squiggle Magic, which allows children to develop fine motor skills and imagination by drawing and watching their creations come to life on screen.

Through these games, children can learn essential skills, such as early math, including number recognition, counting, and shapes; early reading, including letter formation, pre-reading, phonics, and age-appropriate vocabulary; and other essential life skills, including attention to detail, social-emotional skills, empathy, problem-solving, early literacy, colors, emotions, and spatial reasoning.

The Osmo set includes 19 cardboard pretend play costume pieces, 38 silicone sticks and rings that are BPA-free and dishwasher safe, a silicone game play mat, and stackable storage for game pieces. It is compatible with all iPads except Generation 1-4. However, the new iPad 10th Gen, iPad Pro 11” (4th Gen), and iPad Pro 12.9” (6th Gen) are not currently compatible, with compatibility coming later in 2023. The iPad Reflector 2021 is required for iPad Mini 6, iPad Air 4-5, iPad Pro 11-inch, and iPad Pro 12.9-inch. The minimum iOS version needed is iOS 11.
